Energy Bites

If you are a person of Pinterest, I’m sure you have seen these energy bite recipes everywhere. They are super easy, quick, and inexpensive to make. In fact, I didn’t even go out to pick up any ingredients- I just threw in what was already in my kitchen! All you need to do is mix everything together, shape them, and place them in the fridge until they have set!

In less than 10 minutes, you can prepare a weeks worth of healthy breakfasts and/or snacks. If you plan on indulging that day, though, be sure to give yourself an extra 20 minutes to allow them to firm and cool in your refrigerator.

I made 2 different batches for both my family and my roommates and both groups devoured them in less than a week! Now that I think about it, maybe it would be worthwhile to double the recipe…

Depending on the size you choose, each recipe will yield about 20 balls.

Feel free to add, remove, or replace any of the ingredients to suit your liking, and let me know, so I can try it too!

Tip: Just make sure if you are replacing the honey or the PB you do so with another nut butter or ingredient that can act as a glue to keep everything together.
