It sounds crazy, but it can totally be done (and no, I’m not talking about all the “kittens” and “bunnies” stumbling through the streets on Halloween). I was approached by Adore Me to create fall-inspired flat-lays that prove how this can be done.

  1. Sweet & Salty14492331_10211032140505233_6082421719394716172_n

There is no doubt that maroon is a huge colour in the fall-time. My favourite thing about autumn is that, as the weather gets nippy, so do my ensembles. I’m all about that “leather & lace”, “sugar & spice” contrast when it comes to personal style. This risky bra and booty capture that effect under this sweet, lace peplum top.

2. Lounge in Lace14517642_10211032139465207_7007701609383403728_n14600991_10211032139425206_782147716455612661_n

This look also integrates innocent lace with a bit of an edge, but it is a lot more casual. Pairing this beautiful lingerie piece under an oversized cotton tee ensures the bra can be fully appreciated in a tasteful way. Sharp winged liner and a velvet choker give it the perfect finishing touch!

3. Cozy Crotchet

My final look is one for those chilly days when all you want to do is curl up with a hot cup of tea and a good poetry book… or is that just me? Of course, I had to bring maroon back with the knit cardigan. The colours in this bralette scream autumn. The print is also beautiful and, like the oversized tee, the loose cardigan allows it to be admired.

I hope this encourages you to try something new and risky this fall! Fashion is an art and art deserves to be admired.
