A Passion for Porridge (Pt. 2)

It’s no secret that I LOVE my oatmeal. I knew whilst writing the first A Passion for Porridge post that a second one was inevitable; especially with the changing seasons.

Here are some more oatmeal recipes to kickstart a chilly day.

  • chocolate milk or milk alternative (I used chocolate almond milk)

  • 1 tbsp coconut flakes

Tip: for a true Chunky Monkey flavour, you can replace (or  add) the coconut flakes for walnuts, almonds, pecans, or any other nut of your choice!

4. Mocha

  • coffee
  • 1 tbsp hot chocolate powder

Note: if you try this one out, take it from me and make sure you take into account the temperature of the coffee before microwaving your oats. If the coffee is already warm you might end up with a science experiment like me. Oops…
